• Giving business mentor support

Working in partnership to improve student’s future opportunity within the world of work by:

• Delivering whole day work related learning workshops to students during PWC business volunteer week and supporting students personal development by giving an overview of their own professional career journey.
• Supporting a programme which Heartlands Academy is delivering in partnership with Enabling Enterprise where students work through a portfolio to gain a level 2 qualification in Enterprise Skills
• Providing Heartlands Academy with the use of their PWC conference suites and facilities for professional meetings

Enabling Enterprise

Working in partnership to deliver a recognised Enabling Enterprise qualification and providing:

• Learning resources and scheme of work for the professional within Heartlands Academy to deliver the qualification.
• One day training to the professionals who deliver the course.
• Support and guidance to the professional delivering the course through email and telephone contact.

Working in partnership to provide professional business partnerships

• Link Heartlands and PWC as a strategic partnership
• Provide opportunities to attend industry days and work related learning conferences
• Provide other business links within their partnerships

Working in Partnership to provide work related taster days and:

• Provide industry days for groups of students
• Provide a list of opportunities for students to engage in skill based enterprise days
• Provide whole day events for students to attend that include army days
• Provide links to businesses that provide gap Years

Chambers of Commerce

Working in partnership to support student development through professional guidance, Information and Support

• Chambers of Commerce provide professional support through organised training days, network meetings and business conferences.
• This enables Heartlands to extend their network of business partnerships
