Music Lessons

At Heartlands we are very passionate about music, allowing great opportunities for pupils to express themselves creatively. We have a fantastic range of resources including acoustic instruments, latest Apple Mac technology as well as a fully equipped professional recording studio that can be used by all pupils.

The Birmingham music service support a variety of instrumental lessons including drums, brass, dhol, woodwind and guitar.

The music department are instrumental in staging regular concerts and performances throughout the year. The opportunities range from performing in an ensemble or playing an important back stage role. The extra curricular activities are continuing to grow, offering keyboard clubs, vocal group, African drumming and music technology club.
